Round Grate Magnets
Round grate magnets are made up of magnetic tubes arranged in a grid pattern and welded into a round frame. They drop into openings on steep-sloped hoppers, odd and irregularly shaped hoppers, floor openings, vertical closed chutes, and ducts. As bulk material falls through the grate during conveying, any ferrous particles and parts that are in the material stick to the face of the magnetic tubes, removing them from the conveyed material. This helps prevent ferrous particles and parts from contaminating bulk products during conveying, getting into machinery downstream and causing damage, and potentially creating a spark that could explosive materials.
The grating separators are highly used in powder production or bulk products. 

Specification

  1. Material: made of SUS304 or SUS316 stainless steel and Strong Neodymium magnet.
  2. Surface treatment: outside with fine polishing.
  3. Work temperature is <80ºC, 100ºC, 120ºC,150ºC, 200ºC.
  4. Max surface gauss on the surface of magnetic bar is over 14000Gs, 13000Gs, 12000Gs, 11000Gs, 10000Gs.
  5. Normal Diameter: from 100mm to 500mm

How to Clean?
  1. Cleaning frequency: To define cleaning time, you should inspect ferrous contamination on Magnetic Bars after material has passed by for several hours. Height of ferrous contamination should be less than 5 mm on Magnetic Bars.
  2. Clean Method: 1) Clean with high pressure water gun; 2) Blow with high-pressure air; 3) Wipe manually with thick gloves.
